Mark,
Meanwhile I created a sample plug-in to demonstrate how to write a
decorator. The zip file contains the following four projects:
* Example Decorator Build
* Example Decorator Feature
* Example Decorator Plug-in
* Example Decorator Update Site
Project "Example Decorator Build" has a "doc" folder with a little
documentation of the projects.
I am sure, it is not as good as David's presentation, but may help
getting started.
I do not know where to put the zip file, in case somebody is interested
in getting a copy. Any ideas?
Regards,
Thomas.

Hi, Art,COMMON about writing "plug-ins" for WDSC-i and RD-i ... it's all
A few years back, David Gibbs, who runs these lists, did a session at
Eclipse-based, so you must write them in Java. He had a nice presentation
with examples showing how to use Eclipse "decorators" to add some stuff to
the Remote Systems Explorer display of objects and source members etc.,
similar to what you are asking for.
and the sample code. :)
If you ask him, I believe he would send you a copy of that presentation
midrange "wiki" sites, perhaps with a link to download the PowerPoint
David: any chance you could "host" those materials on one of the
presentation, or even as a .pdf?

Where can I find info on customizing the ishpere compile commands
I want to add a small banner that shows the member description, and if
possible user is that created it and date and time.
Thank you
