Justin

I don't know if it got to be a PMR or an RFE - I submitted something to say don't mark as unused a DS if any of its subfields are used. It might already be in - I'm sure there are other things like this - *INZSR gets marked as unused, since it almost never is actually called for.manually.

Cheers
Vern

Another one would be LIKEDS() that get flagged. Upon reflection, all of those except for D/S subfields could possibly be considered bugs, not an RFE.

I voted (for the first time voting, ever) for this... however, this could lead to a whole 'nother discussion or two.

Like...

Why would you want have an unused variable mucking up code? Not that I don't in at least one program as a "place holder" in a data structure.

And...

Why are '*n' (Unnamed) given the status of "unused"? I admit that I could give them a name, but then if the name isn't used in code, then "bam", there's the little blue marker anyway. Not that I'm doing it right anyway, but that's how I've rolled with using data structures to eliminate compile time arrays.

Done.

The biggest things I'd like to suppress are:
*INZSR
*PSSR
D/S subfields (especially *n fields that are used for a pseudo compile-time arrays)

Thanks
