I understand. So you have multiple RDi sessions, one edit tab in each, working on different source members. (As opposed to having multiple edit tabs open in a single RDi session.)

I think the OP was having problems with something else, i.e. split screen views in a single edit tab, using Ctrl+2. This allows multiple views (vertical or horizontal) of the _same_ source member in a single edit tab. (Each view allows different sections of the same code to be browsed or changed.)

Interesting to learn how different folk drive the product - cheers!
