Sadly, my work blocks the install with firewall rule. <Sad face> But, tried it at home, and I liked it!

Also makes me appreciate RDI much more too! <smirk> It not a RDI replacement, as already stated. :)

PS. Not every employer is not willing to buy tools for the Modern IBM i Developer. I had to say, why not take away Visual Studio? After all, they can use Free Tools like notepad. <Evil smirk>

So, a nice free alternative, if you employer won't invest in the RDi license. <disappointment> :(

FWIW: I decided today to try the free ILEDITOR. My only machine access is PUB400.COM (I'm a long time grateful user).

Initially I couldn't get ILEDITOR to do much with the default FTP setting of AutoPassive. Switching to PASV solved the problem. Only issue I still have is that the Spool File List always says "No spool files found."

ILEDITOR is not RDi, but it is miles ahead of SEU and the price is right.
