I open <mine>, <of> course in the "PDM" source object table view.
I just prefer to open my member in table view.

I use customized compiles all the time, depending on the projects/ Service-Program, SQL-Modules, etc...
Of courses my favorite change management system, Turnover does that all with the RDI plugin! <Kudos>

Right-click on your source member:
* Compile
* work with Compile Commands...
Pretty simple.
I usually do this when I open my course in the "PDM" source object table view. I think you could also do that from the tree view too. I prefer the new updated Object table!
