I'm editing RPG and CL source code in RDi using i Projects. I
removed the sequence number and date fields to make the
code more Git-friendly, but now RDi doesn't show line numbers in the
margin when editing code. Is there a way to enable this?
I don't use iProjects but I do use the LPEX Editor in RDi all the
time. The LPEX Editor expects your IBM i source file to be formatted
similar to the following. If it is, then the LPEX Editor will display the
line numbers that are contained in the formatted SRCSEQ field (and
optionally display the dates that are contained in the SRCDAT field). A
sequence number area within the RPG source line is not required.
