Hi Don,

On this page https://dbeaver.io/download/ <https://dbeaver.io/download/> on the left hand side it lists "Eclipse Plugin" just after the Linux options.

I noticed that it mentioned Eclipse Marketplace so I installed it that way.

In RDi select Help and then Eclipse Marketplace.

In the resulting dialog I typed dbe in the filter box and then pressed Go. (I just tried it again a minute ago and it is not working right now for some reason but the URL on the web site should work.)

Now scroll down to DBeaver 5.6.0 and there you go.

It works very well. I plan on writing it up for a blog or something in the next few days once I've sorted out how the content assist etc. works.

In an earlier post Steve said " At the top of the screen, between Project and Run (I also have iSphere and DBU/Server in there), there is an entry as SQL Editor.
When I select that, there is an option for New SQL Editor. That spawns a pop-up window to select a Data Source. Once chosen that prompts for a log
on to the server and then a new tab is open within RDi with the DBeaver software loaded.

This works for me. When defining the connection you'll find that it includes DB2 as an option and "AS/400" <sigh> within that. I picked that and edited the config to specify the system name, user password, etc. You can also specify your default library, although it is easy to select the one you want from a menu pull down. Unlike many other similar tools I have used this one seems to do the schema bit right and if you have the schema selected you don't need to specify it all the time.

Good luck.

I too installed the stand alone version and while I have only touched the
surface it does look quite good.

But Jon where did you find the plug in for RDi or how did you install ?

And i am going to wait until someone advise how to access it in RDi before
I go and add the plugin.

Cheers
