Looks like there are two license flavors that you can purchase for RDi
right now from the Marketplace. The IBM website does not mention any others
that I can find.

Authorized User - Allows a single user access to the software on any
computer or server where installed. This license cannot be shared with
other persons. This is a perpetual license.

Floating User Single Install - Licensed for a pool of unnamed users, but
can only be installed on one system. Priced by number of users. This is a 1
year license.

RDi is installed on the client, so the Authorized User description applies
to the client, but in my experience, I can access source and compile on any
server that I can connect to.

I missed/ignored that first part of his question, since it seemed he was
really asking about the number of servers RDi can connect to. Obviously,
the license to use on multiple clients depends on the type of license
purchased. I.e., floating vs. ???

But, no matter which RDi license you have, you will be able to connect to
any number of servers.

I think you have that backwards.?
I use one license to connect to multiple clients on multiple machines.
The license is for the RDi software on your workstation/laptop/pc not
the
server.
