For you information, in Windows/Preference/General/Keys you can rebind the
Delete command and the Delete Key start working again.

I removed the binding, close the preference and return binding it again and
it worked for me.
Command = Delete
Binding = Delete
When = In Windows
Category = Edit
User = U
