Re: [WDSCI-L] RDi DDS Design Perspective

Hi Michael,

That's a good spot on the clicking thing - that slow repeated clicking
will
alternate the fields, but the right click only selects the second one.

I'm seeing the same behaviour.

When I first read your email about "two" selected I initially thought
you
mean "both" and I wondered if that explained the behaviour I'd
occasionally
seen where the "align to parent" option from the context menu was greyed
out.
But having re-read your email and tried it for myself I see you mean the
second one.

best regards,
Craig

Yeah, probably a bad choice for the example. I had originally tried using
'FIELDONE' and 'FIELDTWO', but I got lazy in my final example and didn't
want to type the extra characters.

I would be willing to enter an RFE, but there are lots of ways to address
the issue and I'm not sure what would be the most preferable:
- Asking for the right-click to work like the left-click and alternate
what field is selected
- Have the right-click work on whatever field is selected
- Have the alignment options available on the properties page

I think the last option would be the most clear, but not necessarily the
most convenient.
