There are some that can David.

I use TextWrangler for quick HTML/PHP/XML/etc. edits and it can use an FTP connection to edit/save to the IFS.

Just to press a bit further - is the JavaScript Editor native to RDi,

I think it's important to differentiate between an external editor (an editor that is launched as part of the operating system and not part of RDi or eclipse), an editor that is part of Eclipse but not specific to RDi, and editors that are part of RDi.

I _suspect_ the only editors that would be able to work with the IFS are those that are specific to RDi ... as they would have to download & upload the files. LPEX is such an editor.

An editor that is part of Eclipse, but not specific to RDi, can edit things that are already downloaded ... but I'm not sure they would be able to upload the edited data.

IBM i on Power Systems: For when you can't afford to be out of business!

I'm riding 615 miles (Yes, you read that right) in the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure to raise money for diabetes research, education, advocacy, and awareness. You can make a tax deductible donation to my ride by visiting https://lsteml.diabetessucks.net.

See where I get my donations from ... visit https://lsteml.diabetessucks.net/map for an interactive map (it's a geeky thing).

I may have diabetes, but diabetes doesn't have me!
