I understand that O-specs for reports may be anathema to some, but if you
still want to use O-specs in a **free program, you have two choices:
1) Unsupported: **end-free, beginning in column 1, just before your O-specs
2) Supported: /copy of a source member that contains your O-specs.

**end-free is unsupported and undocumented, but IBM uses it in their SQL
precompiler.
