Hi Steve,

You can export all of your RSE information using RDi Menu bar; Select the menu File, then select option Export, once the Export Dialog is displayed, expand Rational Developer for i. From there you can select the Configuration Files and press the Next button.

Now you can chose what to export from the IDE preferences:
Eclipse Preferences (IDE settings)
Editor templates for the LPEX editor (by language)
Remote Systems Artifacts (which are your connections, filters, actions, etc.

Use the Browse... button to assist you to save the file in a location for import later.

To import, use the File menu, Import, navigate to Rational Developer for I, and select Configuration files and either type or Browse... the file you saved.

Hope this helps!

Subject: [WDSCI-L] New PC

I will be installing RDi on a new machine & would like to bring over all my settings from my current RDi setup, stuff like the editor colors/fonts & RSE connections.
How do I go about doing this?

Thanks in advance.
