So some people really want to be able to use the openLine enter behaviour in SQLRPGLE because they want to stay at the current column and just open a new line

Sorry Ken, this is a feature that some people are counting on so I can't change it.

It's a preference you can change. Not everyone would necessarily want the keyboard mapped that way. I wouldn't call that a bug.
