Another option would be to create a different connection for each
environment. Then go into the properties for the connection and set up the
library list for that environment.

Same here: I have an initial program which prompts for an environment,
then sets the library list accordingly.

Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] Library lists

Don,

I have to switch library lists a lot.

I have a simple command that lets me save ( current library list ) or
retrieve ( from data areas ) up to 10 library lists

I run this command in the commands log tab in RDi if I need to switch
library lists on the fly.

For startup - as a one-time setup:

Right Click the Remote System and select Properties Select Subsystems.

Put the library which holds my command into Library and click ADD.

Put my library list command in the Initial Command.

That's how I do it anyway.

regards,

Craig

Has there been any changes in 9.6 in relation to library lists ?

We maintain a number of hosted environments and on a daily basis could

work on 10 or more different environments which require totally

different library lists.

How do other long time users of Rdi handle switching library lists

frequent;y for the same system connection ?

I am sure there must be a better way than what we are currently using.

Thank you for any suggestions
