Stuart, the RDi VERIFY CONNECTION and REMOTE SERVERS options are not exclusive to the QShells subsystem.

Right-click _any_ of the Connection Subsystems, (OBJECTS, COMMANDS, JOBS, IFS, etc.) and you'll find both options in the context menu. The VERIFY CONNECTION should be run after every RDi upgrade or fixpack install to ensure the server PTF levels are up to date with RDi.
