There are several ways:

1.) Close the "Error Log" view, and then save your perspective. Then
the Error-Log will Not pop-up.
2.) Filter the "Error Log" by severity. If the error is warning
only, you can filter your "ERRROR LOG" to only show errors. Then
information/warning messages are excluded.

Cool! However, when I went to look at the filters I found a
checked item that says "Activate on new events" so I just unchecked that.
