I've seen the pads, but never used them. I lost my ruler a long time
ago, but the other programmer in our shop still has his. I had to refer
to that a lot when I got started. https://imgur.com/GexL9LY

I have a few pads of those but not the full set. Also a report/screen
layout
pad.

The back of them is great for sketching things in my work shop.

With all this talk of punch cards ... yes I started learning
programming using
punch cards.

We were allowed 3 attempts to submit our card stack that would compile
an
RPG or COBOL program and then run. There was a stack of data cards
following the program cards all controlled by job control cards.

BUT who remembers the IBM RPG Coding sheets ??

The facility where I was learning RPG used to purchase these from IBM,
actually i was one of the lads that got to go to IBM to collect them.
(There is a funny story about IBM door security - will leave that to
another
time :-) )

They were in tear off pads of about 40 or 50 sheets and different pads
for
each specification type (H,F,L,E,S,T,I,U,O)

Used to write these up in pencil before getting time on the card
punch.

Enjoy your day!!
