Got that right! After trying to encourage developers to use RDi. I have discovered the following:

1.) They do not like change.
2.) They do not like windows with multiple views. They are used to a single 5250 screen. No multiple views
3.) They do not like shortcut keys. Too hard to remember.
4.)They love punch cards. Learning new stuff is hard.

I know that sounds negative. It is not all developers. But many are set in their 1970’s time frame. But not all.

You can lead them to water, but if they are stubborn, you are wasting your time!!! Let them retire already! Wish them luck!

Gosh, just realised it is almost 10-years since RDi 7.1 was announced,
(29th January 2008).

If memory serves correctly, this was the first incarnation of the
unbundled product, which required a separate licence. (It's forerunner,
WDSc 7.0 was part of the server-bundled software, 5xxx-WDS.

A decade has flown by - and we're _still_ trying to convince folk to
adopt it!

Brian.
