I believe that is from MS Windows sound effects. In Windows 7 on my
system, this turned off the click sound from the mouse over:

Go to
Control Panel > Sound > Sounds (tab) > Windows Explorer > Start Navigation
(set to None)

Anytime I mouse-over any text in a source member, the I-beam cursor blinks
and there's an audible click. Is there any way to turn the audible click
off?
