It is my understanding that the RDi 8 boundary is the point where plug-ins
written for 7 and earlier stop working. At the time, it was important to
note the distinction. Today (if I have it right!) it would be better to
write something like '8.x and above'.
What parts are best to install?
I put it all on for my RDi 9.5.1.2 installs.
