RDi isn't much better than SEU for RPG III code...

Even when I still worked with a bunch of RPG III, I'd do a CVTRPGSRC before
making any changes.

If I just wanted to look at RPG III code, I'd CVTRPGSRC to a temporary
member...

Unless you happen to be using one of the few op-codes that don't convert,
there's little excuse not to convert. And if you do use one of those
non-converting op-codes...you're probably using it wrong anyway ;)

Now that IBM licenses the two compilers separately, you'll save $$$
(eventuality) if you stop using the RPGIII compiler.

Hello Good Friday to you,

I opened a program whose source type RPG & NOT RPGLE.
And i wanted to see Block Nesting on an IF statement.
And placed my cursor on the IF statement and pressed CTRL + SHIFT + O.
The RDi app never came up with lines to show the block nesting.
However when I did CTRL + SHIFT + M, the App took me to the ENDIF back &
forth.

Do you believe that RDi does not like source type RPG & works only on RPGLE
?
