Re: RDi 7.5 install error

I don't have any inside scoop, but I can offer a couple guesses.

First:
- The forward slashes mixed with the standard backslash in 'file at
"D:\IBM\RDI75/lum/" looks odd. Although I wouldn't have a clue how to
change that. You could try searching your install media for something with
the mixed slashes--or specifically for "/lum/". That path is not valid for
Windows.

Secondly:
- I'm sure that you have also had a newer version of RDi installed. If a
newer version is installed, I could see something in Installation Manager
having changed where it is not compatible with the RDi 7.5 install.

Of course, these are both just guesses.

Folks:

After the drive on my laptop failed, I have to reinstall a lot of
software ... including RDi 7.5.

Unforunately, I'm getting an error...

Installation failed.
Error during "install" phase:

file at "D:\IBM\RDI75/lum/".

Any ideas what might be causing this?
