Situation is Normal, all fouled as Usual.

Gee, the stone table editor (SEU) does not have this functionality, and currently nether does RDI 9.5.1.2. Unlike previous releases, this does NOT surprise me.

Previous reported on 2017-05-05
PMR: 61042 442 000 RDI 9.5.1.2 Automatic Uppercase for DDS is BROKEN (CLOSED)

I guess assume that possible it will be "RE-FIXED" on a new release to work like previous releases. <finger crossed>

On the next new release, please get ready to redo all your testing to confirm that functionality that worked in a previous release, will also work in the new release also. SNAFU.

PS. Working on old legacy DDS for physical "Model" file, that does NOT contain data. Just used for external definition. The previously working "Auto-Uppercase" does not work on DDS PHY source code either.

What is the purpose of LPEX over SEU? Oh yeah, syntax checking... <Just saying...>

I apologize for being a cynic.

I'll take RDi with bugs any day over SEU (Stone-tablet Editor, Unproductive edition). SEU was great in it's day, but it's time to put it to rest.

Work fine for me at the same release level except I do not have "Automatic syntax checking" turned on. I turn this feature on and I get the results you get.

Doug,

Yes, I have notice it too...

Nothing new, I get tired of wasting my time open PMR on something that worked in a previous release, and now broken in a newer release.

I guess someone hasn't heard of Regression testing. Nothing New to see here...

For it to work for me, I have save the source, change the line again, save it. And eventually it will change to Uppercase. Wonderful!!! So Productive chasing bugs. But, I thought it was "Just Me". That now makes TWO OF US.

I no longer care, it is NOT worth the hassle... Just hit Caps-Lock. <Hint Hint>

Find a way to blame Microsoft windows, or something else.

We are on 9.5.1.2

Has anyone noticed on the LPEX DDS Parser, when making changes to DDS for a PF member, that the Automatic Uppercasing no longer works, even though the Automatic Uppercasing box is checked on Preferences?

Thank you,

Doug
