Thanks Jon! I finally found databaseFieldListings2.cache files in
IBM\rationalsdp\workspace\.metadata\.plugins\com.ibm.etools.iseries.subsystems.qsys\cache\<system
ID>\objects\<library name>\<file name>.FILE\<record name>\, which contain
the record's field definitions. Unfortunately, not all of the files I
cached have an associated databaseFieldListings2.cache file. Not sure
what's going on there.

It appears that all of the file definitions from our "production" files
library were cached, but not the files from my development library, which
is the same library of my development source that I moved into the
iProject. Even after explicitly using "Cache File Descriptions" on these
files, I'm not able to find the associated databaseFieldListings2.cache
file.

Getting weird behavior now that I'm offline. I created a new source member
in the iProject and added two files, one defined in the "production" files
library and the other from my development library. The one from the
production library has its field definitions in the outline, while the
other does not. I saved and closed the source member. I opened it back
up, and RDi wants to "Live parse", pops up a dialog box to connect, which I
cancel because I'm not connected now (getting a "Connection to <system>
could not be established" dialog), and the outline now has the field
definitions for NEITHER of the two files.

Any ideas?
