I haven't read all the responses... but I ALWAYS double-click a source member to open. It opens in edit mode.

I've had this happen to me as well. If I open a member in browse mode (on purpose OR debug opens it), then open it from my "recent" list, it opens in browse mode. The problem is that it's not immediately obvious that it's in browse mode.

I never double-click to open a member. I ALWAYS use the Ctl/Shift/A shortcut.

It's possible that I opened a member in browse mode but it would not have been the last member I worked with. I almost always open members in edit mode. I'll have to keep my eyes out for this happening again.

The 'open source member in browse mode' is for when you double-click on a member.

The Open Member dialog now remembers what you last used in the dialog. Is Browse selected there?

Thanks,
Eric
