There is a Sample included with RDI that allows you to specifically set the date of the source line.
In Preferences, LPEX Editor, User Actions:
Name: "setDate"
Class Name: "com.ibm.lpex.samples.SetDateAction"
In the LPEX editor:
With your cursor on the line you want to change you press Escape to go to the control line, then type "action setDate".
The LPEX line prompts you to key the new date.
I've used this from time to time to reset dates back for lines that got spaced through on accident.
Or when someone copies a line to duplicate it, and then updates the old line instead of the new line.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Is there a way to turn off updating source line change date in RDi?
I'm investigating an issue where a line in a source member *must* have been changed in the past month, but looking at it in SEU shows the line was last changed in 2014. I know someone could use SQL or DBU, for example, to change the line without impacting the SRCDAT value, but we're hoping there's a less "sneaky" reason, perhaps someone monkeyed with their preferences in RDi and turned it off. I just scanned through the LPEX Editor preferences and Remote Systems preferences on my system, but didn't find anything.
I seem to recall that SRCDAT was not updated in earlier versions of RDi/WDSC, or perhaps I'm thinking of something else, like Code/400 or somesuch?
