Wow! The debug toggle, Source/*listing works now, I did not restart RDI...
But, I did recompile the program. Reclaim resources...
I was debugging the code, and did a change inside of debug, while I found a bug. But, I wanted to continue on. So, I wanted to switch to *LISTING view. That did NOT work...
But, I could have sworn I have done that dozens of time before, and the toggle to *LISTING view would work...
Yikes, I will probably have to find the trigger, that cause the show *LISTING to stop working...
Toggling between views ALWAYS works in Green Screen debug...
Speaking of which, in green screen debug, I can toggle between view (source/*listing) and add/remove break-points. But, that is NOT the case in RDi 9.5.1.2 or it's predecessors. If you add a break point in *LISTING view, you do not see it source view.
Sadly, always best to clear all break points, and restart RDI 9.5.1.2 because it is so "flaky". Not worth the aggravation. Which is why I often still debug with Green-Screen, it is 100% fail-proof. Unlike RDI 9.5.1.2. <sigh>

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDI 9.5.1.2 debug view show *LISTING no longer works...
Hi,
RDI 9.5.1.2 no longer can toggle view between Source/*LISTING in debug view....
Normally, I can right-click, and switch view and pick one of the following:
Show *SOURCE
Show *LISTING
Show *Statement
No, it is NOT GRAYED out...
It allows me to click it the *LISTING view, but does not switch to *LISTING View...
I have to do it MANUALLY! WTF?
I have to Right-click and "Edit Source Lookup..."
And then I have to Click STEP-INTO.
Finally, I get option to select the "Debug Engine:xxxxx" to get the *LISTING view
Why? Oh why, do things work in previous PRODUCTION release, and then break on new Release?
I start RDi 9.5.1.2 EVERY morning with the "-Clean" option, and I still get things NOT to working.
Am I missing a setting to "ENABLE" this to work? Or do I have to waste time by opening yet another PMR?
I guess the old "Re-Start" to get it to work again...
