I was playing around with this and unfortunately have had no success. Here's what I checked. All are under Windows, Preferences.

-- Under Help, no changes were made.
-- Under Help, Content, both the links provided in earlier e-mails were used to reference the https: portion. Testing these connections however continue to fail. Yet trying these links in a browser does bring up a home page which was done to verify the sites are active.
-- Under Help, EXEC Statements, no changes were made. Since I don't do any COBOL or PL/I development, this wouldn't apply to me.

But one interesting thing was noted...I have two Help, Content lines and they bring up different content. The difference between the two is that one brings up "Configure information centers" which gives me three options...local help only, remote help with local priority, and remote help with remote priority. And when I click on Restore Defaults, close the window, then select Windows, Preferences again, one of the Help, Content lines disappears (the one with the "Configure information centers"). Sounds like a bug there...

So what next? Is there are setting elsewhere in the Preferences that should be looked at?

When you get the failure messages, what are you doing? Are you invoking language sensitive help and on what kind of source?

Thanks,
