Within RDi's Remote Systems view you can ctrl-click like Booth said, or you
can use the shift-click to select them all (select the first, scroll to the
bottom and shift-click the last). You can also right-click a filter and
select "show in table", click once in the object table view and use CTRL-A
to select them all.

Thanks Booth,

I was not aware of the Ctrl-Click worked for compile so thank you for
that.
In most cases we do not use LVLCHK(*NO) and do not want level check errors
which is why we do mass recompiles regularly as a result of file changes.

So in PDM you can put 14 against a member and press F13 which repeats to
the end of the list then Enter to do all the compiles.

If I have to Ctrl-Click hundreds of members I would prefer to do it from
PDM :-)

We are trying to use RDi more and more but at the moment some things seem
quicker and easier in PDM

Thank you for your input.

Not sure I understand the question. I ctrl-click the members I want to
batch compile, right click, choose compile, and let er rip. But I have
all the related members in one project (RPG, CL, DSPF, PRTF) so that may
make a difference for you.

Hi Group,

In PDM if I wanted to recompile a list of members I could do the
following;

WRKMBRPDM with the required source file
F17 and specify the required member subset - for example Member type
*RP*
F18 and specify the object library
14 and F13 to repeat the option for all members
Press Enter and every member selected would be recompiled

How would I do the same thing in Rdi ?

Thank you for any suggestions
