Thank You for this. I have discovered a bit that I have wanted for some time, the ability to select a rectangle with a simple mouse action. Alt-Double Click, then drag does the job. And even better, I now understand the mouse actions so that I can change it so that Ctrl-left click sets the rectangle block. For those who are interested, the mapping is:
Window->Preferences, find User Mouse Actions
In the input fields type:
1. Mouse Event = c-1-pressed.1
2. Action = blockMarkRectangleAtMouse
Click Buttons:
1. Set
2. OK - the Preferences dialog disappears
Now you can hold down the Ctrl key while you are selecting with your mouse, and you will get a rectangle selection block. This is useful for indenting, outdenting, replicating the block, and other block selection options.
The only weirdness happens because you now need to end the block selection by holding CTRL+ALT and clicking on the page once you are finished with the block. I think I can get used to that. ALT-U works as well.

www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27003691&aid=1 is very old. It
is for the LPEX V4.0 that is written in C++ (used in CODE/400 for example).
When we moved to Eclipse (Java-based), LPEX reset it's version. We are
using 4.4.6 in the current fixpack. The '4.4' part actually refers to the
Eclipse level it is for.
Current base LPEX documentation can be found at:
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSAE4W_9.5.1/com.ibm.lpex.doc.user/concepts/coverview.htm
RDi adds IBM i functionality to LPEX, some details can be found at:
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSAE4W_9.5.1/com.ibm.etools.iseries.rse.doc/topics/cedit.html

Eric

First, the link came up with IBM's 404 page...here is the correct link.
This brings up V4.0.
www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27003691&aid=1
There doesn't seem to be any literature after that as I see the latest
version being reported is V4.4.6, but I did find this link under the V7R1
section of IBM.

Have been reading discussions about LPEX keyboard shortcuts with interest
and came across an LPEX manual :
www-01.ibm.com/support/docview/.wss?uid=swg27003691&aid=1
Has anyone found a more up to date version?
