I never have to restart.

When I occasionally loose the delete key ( once every 2 months), I go to
the key bindings, then click "Apply" without making any changes.
Functionality of the delete key then comes right back.

Note: I think it is the "Apply". It might say "Save" or something. I'm not
at my system right now to get the exact key.

Dave,

This is happen to me several times, the del key stops works in RDI. But
works in other software like Notepad and MS WORD.

Restart RDI several times to get it to work. It is what I have had to do
REPEATLY....

You are NOT ALONE on this... I have tried to report it, and but unable to
duplicate whatever triggers this to stop working...

With "Re-Start Software". Re-Starting the software, it seems to clear it
for a little bit...

Do NOT COMPLAIN about it, instead use the Alt+D to delete code.

I have a ROCK-SOLID Logitech USB Keyboard, not a wireless keyboard. When
it only fails in RDI, it is that SOFTWARE without a doubt....

When in doubt, re-start.... Still does not work, then re-create work-space.

Isn't it great when your keys do not work in a single software package???

I have recreate my work space about 1-1/2 months ago, and it has not
happen again yet...

I would NEVER expect keyboard keys, like "delete" to stop working
UNEXPECTLY in an IDE. You are NOT ALONE on this!

Are you talking about the intermittent bug where the delete key stops
working?

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Delete Key

I have both 9.1.1.1 and 9.5.1.1 installed and I've checked the key
configurations and they match for the Delete key. However, though the
delete key works as expected in the LPEX editor for 9.1.1.1 it does nothing
in the LPEX editor for 9.5.1.1. So, what do I have to do to get it working
in 9.5.1.1? Thanks.

Sincerely,

Dave Clark
