I'm sorry, but I don't know how that applies.

Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] iSphere msg missing Reply box
Hi Justin,
Whether or not inquiry messages are automatically answered is controlled by job attribute "INQMSGRPY".
See the help text of CHGJOB:
< CHGJOB_HELP >
Inquiry message reply (INQMSGRPY) - Help
Specifies the way that predefined messages that are sent as a result of running this job are answered. You can specify that the inquiry message reply control is taken from the job description, or that all inquiry messages require a reply, or that a default reply is issued, or that the system reply list is checked for a matching reply as each predefined inquiry message is sent.
*SAME
The method to use for inquiry message replies does not change.
*RQD
A reply is required by the receiver of the inquiry message for
inquiry messages that are sent during the running of this job.
*DFT
The default message reply is used to answer any inquiry messages
issued during the running of this job.
*SYSRPYL
The system reply list is checked to see if there is an entry for any
inquiry message issued as a result of running this job. If a match
occurs, the reply value in that entry is used. If no entry exists
for that inquiry message, a reply is required.

From my point of view that is the way to go. It would be difficult to let iSphere answer reply messages with predefined values of the system reply list, because I could not yet figure out how to retrieve the reply list entries. The only thing I can think of is to let iSphere hold its own local and connection specified reply list.
Thomas.
