Hey now...I'm only 44. And I'm sitting next to a 39yr old RPG'er.

Dick, haha, I think we're ALL old guys by now. I don't know a single

Justin,
I don't like the white background either. After much frustration, I
finally figured out how to change this. I'm happy to share what
worked
for
me.
(I'm running RDi Version: 9.5.1.0)

1. Start with Windows | Preferences. (it helped me to move the
preferences dialog so that I could still see my source code in the
editor)
2. Expand the section "LPEX Editor"
3. Click on "Appearance" (mine has the "eclipse" pallet selected.
4. In the "Styles" list box, click on the "default" Style 5. Click
on "Background"
6. Then you pick a color.
7. Click the "Apply" button and see how your source looks. If you
don't like it, press the 8. For me, I heard that black text on
yellow background is the most easy to read. So I went into "Define
Custom Colors", and I set the color to:
Red: 255
Green: 255
Blue: 204

Depending on the color that you pick, you may need to change colors
for other settings. But with the color I picked, I didn't have to
change too much.

By the way, if you are an old guy like me, this LPEX
Editor/Appearances panel is a good place to increase the font size
and use something better looking than ugly old Courier-New. Just be
sure that you pic a
mono-spaced
font (Consolas or Lucida Console are decent choices).

Hope that helps!

I'm looking for a way to tone down the bright white background for

Any suggestions?
