I changed the "as-rmtcmd" and "drda" jobs to CCSID(273) and imported the source members again. Still no curley brackets. Of course I verified (netstat, idle time) that the jobs that I changed had been used for importing the source members.

I assume I have to open a PMR.

I just did a test:

Changed user profile DUMMY to CCSID 273; signed on as DUMMY - job CCSID was 273; signed on as myself - job CCSID was 500; changed current user to DUMMY - job CCSID remained 500.

So I don't think that will work. The jobs for RDi initially start with user QUSER.

Changed my USRPRF to CCSID(273). Still no curley brackets.
