I’m with Jon on this, every time I saw Edmund I would tell him the same, rather then wait please release without the Verify.
Working over a VPN I may be sorry having to compile all the time, while I rarely used verify, the syntax checker is pretty handy.

I’m looking at an RPGLE member all the formatting is there, prompt works, the outline view works.. I’m pretty happy
Oh and our plugins work :)

Now to install RTC in there and configure that.

The verifier was something we told IBM to forget about for the Mac version a long time ago. It was going to be the most costly item to port and rarely seems to be used by most customers (including me these days although I used to ?live? in it). If it was the ?cost? of getting a native Mac version I am more than happy to pay that price. Syntax checker was an unpleasant surprise but ...

For the Mac support, there will be a list of 'limitations' posted on

The limitations posted on the announcement are pretty significant, IMO.

Note: Some functions, such as program verifiers and syntax checkers,
are not available on OS X.

Are there _more_ limitations that haven't been announced?
