We are on V7.1 and user RDi 9.5. I had trouble with compiling source embedded SQL but was able to compile all free source without embedded SQL. It drove me crazy until and found article saying I need PTF SF99701 level 26 or higher. Not sure if this will help your situation but thought I would share.

Another Excellent check! Yes, I have the correct version on all our boxes. Punch-Card-Sequence-Freedom already works. Apparent, except for when I have sql in procedures...

Doesn't hurt to ask/verify! <smile>

PS. Already promote at least 5 Punch-Card-Sequence-Freedom programs into Production!
Good Riddance Punch Card Restrictions!!! Is there any language that now restricted by punch card Sequence numbers? <LOL>

Mainstream that is... You can still run Dos 1.1 & windows 3.1.1 if you wish. But, why would anyone? <smirk>

I have no problem with the Select Statement, just no outline view in
RDI 9.5.0.3.

I presume you know that you can't just install RDi 9.5.0.3 and expect to use **FREE right away. You also have to have the correct level of both the SQL precompiler and the RPG compiler.

Sincerely,

Dave Clark
