Is there any plan to make Java easier to debug via RDi? That is when it is called from RPG. Right now I have to create a test program in Java to test my java classes and methods. Would be nice if we could just step from the RPG statement right into a sub-procedure and back without having to worry about whether the sub-procedure is java or something else.

Actually you can graphically debug SQL stored procedures.
You can use IBM Data Studio which is shipped with RDi (needs to be
explicitly installed).

So Charles, you did remember correctly.

Jon,

There could be plenty if you're dealing with an SQL Stored Procedure or
UDF.

And I could have sworn I'd used RDI (rather WDSC)...but this whitepaper
seems to imply that I probably used the System Debugger GUI.

The same white paper offers IBM Data Studio as another option.

What about CLP, CLE/CPPLE or SQL?

Thx
