You only need the license server if you bought the more expensive floating
licenses...

If you bought the $900 (?) named user licenses, you don't need it.

If you have 5 developers and your bought 5 liceses, I'd expect them to be
named user.

If you have 5 developers and you bought 3 licenses to share then you'd have
to have floating licenses and the license server.

Are you sure you need the server?

Our shop has an RDi license for all of the developers. I'm told that
someone needs to set up a server for license management.

Everyone but me has blown through the trial and my trial expires in 3
weeks. I'm new at this client that I have no clout to ask that the server
be set up. The one person who knows how to do it is absolutely swamped and
working crazy hours, so the server is way down on the priority list.

Is there a way to apply the license to an RDi client without the need to
set up a license management server?
