But, I was talking about the "Launch RUN SQL Scripts" with the Old Punch-card sequence/line numbers.

I normally use SquirrelSQL.org. It does not have the out of date Punch-card sequence/line numbers, nor does Visual Studio. Or at least you can toggle them off!

That trick does work great in LPEX however!

PS. The "Launch Run SQL Scripts" needs to be in the right-click context menu. I didn't find that option, until I was told it was at the Main-Menu only.
<disappointment> Basically I do all with right-click (Shift+f10) or shortcuts keys myself...

I recently discovered this preference but I don't see how it works in 9.5.0.3. Maybe there's an interlocking preference I haven't tumbled to yet:
LPEX Editor > Controls > Prefix area
