An interesting question. What are you doing with the printed portion of
the code? Perhaps there's another way to perform that action.

The last time I printed a program was when I needed to completely
remodel it: it turned into several programs and more than a few
subprocedures.
Oddly enough, the 'printed thing' I use most often is the cross
reference at the bottom of the compiler listing, but I WRKSPLF to see that.
