I find the outline interesting, once in a while, but I do not keep it
visible and rarely refer to it -- to quickly jump to a routine if
anything. I do not use it for research or for "where is a variable or
routine used". I sometimes find it hard to locate something in the outline
because of the bizarre classifications that elements are given and how they
are sorted (I could survive with just "routines" and "variables").

I do, however, keep the "update outline as you type" turned on because I
use Content Assist and hover-over-variable CONSTANTLY, so much so that I've
almost worn out my space bar again!

I purposely did NOT use CODE/400, it was awful (sorry).

Be interesting to see what others think.

Yeah, I'd love to hear other people's thoughts.

(And yes, I also started out on Code/400--that was a hard sell to other
developers. Did you ever try Paul Conte's version of free form RPG that
preceeded it, written in, I think, in Pascal. That was a long time
ago...)

I may have my Picante floppies around here with the chili pepper on the
label... :-)
