But back then Buck he was comparing it to Code/400 and to PCs with a
fraction of the memory and speed we have now etc. etc.
Not saying that his opinion is different now (although I suspect it is
somewhat) but the world has changed a lot in 16 years.
Plus there are very few Scott Klements in the world. In 50+ years the
number of people I have met who are as good as him (speed of typing,
programming skills, memory) is in the double digits - and that includes my
time with the assorted genius’ in the Rochester and Toronto Labs. Doesn’t
invalidate Scott’s opinion, but let’s just say that those of us (myself
included) who are less gifted can perhaps get more of a boost from a tool
such as RDi than Scott can.

a 6 year old post.
Scott was just as world-class in 2000 as he is today, and his personal
opinion was that SEU was his choice.
I'd like to have Scott review that post and provide an updated opinion.
He may have come to a different place in his life by now, but his
opinion then can hardly be seen as a dinosaur ranting at the coming of
the snow. What's more, he's not the only skilled practitioner in that
thread who chose SEU.
I no longer assume that resistance to RDi comes from dinosaurs.
