I started with punch cards and plug boards - and I don�t understand
programmers who won�t change. Change is the definition of the job
surely.
AS to IBM killing off SEU - I doubt it will happen - but they have already
partially killed it by stopping enhancing it. Nothing in free-form
declarations is recognized and nothing added from here on in will be. So
unless you turn off syntax checking by not moving to RDi you have
effectively also said that you are not going to use anything new in RPG
either - and to me that is unacceptable. If I am paying you as a
programmer I expect you to use the best tools available for your job -
period. That includes learning and using new stuff.
