Re: error while saving source in RDi 9.5

There is also an "autosave" feature. If you click the Window menu, select preferences, type "remote sys" and click the second "Remote Systems LPEX Editor" on the left pane, then you'll see an autosave tickbox on the right. Is this ticked already? If not, try it ticked for a while and see if your connection drops anymore.

When I have had this issue I just reconnect to the IBM i and then save the source.
Right-click on your connection and click 'connect'. if 'connect' is not available you may need to click on 'disconnect' then click on 'connect'.
