Not able to delete messages in the iSphere message filter. It says that
the message queue is allocated to another job (CPF2451). But, I don't find
any usage except by the batch QZRCSRVS job being run by iSphere.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] iSphere Plug-in 2.8 released
Sent by: "WDSCI-L" <wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Folks,

It is time to update your iSphere plug-in to version 2.8.0.

Here is the list of features we added to the new version:

* iSphere for RDi 9.5+ (additions)

The RDi 9.5 additions fix the problem that the date of the source lines
is set to the current date when a source member is saved from the
iSphere Compare/Merge editor.

* New context menu option "Copy member(s) to" to copy source members
directly from a source member filter much like the same as PDM
option 3 on the green screen.

* New context menu option "Copy members" to copy source members
from the source file search result view.

* New option "Delete LPEX task tags" to remove obsolete task tags
from the LPEX task tags view. Necessary, e.g. when a source has
been delete on the host.

* New hex editor for user spaces.

* Filter for the message monitor.

* New handler that let you set a service entry point with a
user defined option from PDM within an iSphere 5250 session.

* iSphere 5250 emulator (based on TN5250J).

The "TN5250J - 5250 Emulator für RDi" emulator provided by Task Force-IT
has been added to the iSphere project.

Please remove the Task Force 5250 emulator if you want to install the
iSphere 5250 emulator. The Task Force emulator will be removed from the
Task Force web page with the availability of iSphere 2.8.0.

Please use "Install New Software..." to update to 2.8.0 in order to
select the new features.

The update sites are available at:

http://isphere.sourceforge.net/eclipse/rdi8.0/
http://isphere.sourceforge.net/eclipse/wdsci7.0/

Notice: You do not necessarily need to update the iSphere library on
your IBM i when installing 2.8.0. But you need to update the library
when you want to use the following new features and fixes:

* iSphere handler to start the LPEX editor from an iSphere 5250 session
* Removed hard-links between service programs (bug fix)
* Bug fix in STRPREPRC utility

A lot of the new features have been realized because of your feedback.
Feedback is important for us. If you think something is bad, please let
us know about it. If you think something is good, we love to hear
that, too. If you have any ideas for new features, please don`t hesitate
to send us a feature request.

Thomas.
