When you back up your workspace make sure that your backup process
preserves "hidden" files that start with a period ('.'). I have seen
instances where the hidden files are not preserved. This seems to be
related to the Windows folder settings to not show hidden files, etc. but I
have not investigated in detail - I just have it set to show everything.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Where is connection info stored?
Sent by: "WDSCI-L" <wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

I already backup my workspace regularly to deal with RDi hiccups. Now it's
lost my connection (which apparently is not stored in my workspace). I
guess I need to start backing up my connection info as well. Anyone know
where it's kept?

Whole story:
I closed RDi and rebooted my PC for Windows updates. I started RDi. I had
all my perspectives and views. The Remote Systems view had no connection,
so I added my connection back. That worked but I lost:
--Remote Systems filters
--Object Table Work-with entries
