Have you tried looking at the lines in hex? Only thing I can think of is that there is an “invisible” character in there. I think on some versions of Windows they no longer show up as blobs.

I use the ignore trailing spaces. Not sure if that is your issue or not, but thought I would mention that....

PS. Since RPG is case insensitive like VB, I also turn on the ignore case too. <grin>

It looks like RDi has a new drop-down to select which type of source compare to use. In my case, both IBM i Member Compare and Text Compare show differences when there are none.

Here is an example a line that is the same in both sources, but the source compare is telling me is different.
