Excellent, sorry I was so slow finding it.

Mike,

It looks to me like that APAR covers the issue fine. I'll pass on opening
a PMR. (I've fallen further behind rather than catching up.)

I have noticed that it works sometimes when I'm in a second view, but it
is always a problem when in the primary view--that's not from thorough
testing, just my casual observation.

Thanks for locating this APAR. I'll use the link provided by Eric to
search for APARs. I've not been successful searching for them in the past.

Hi Michael,

This is the one that I was thinking of that I believe addresses the
issue
described in the WDSCI-L thread you linked to.

APAR SE63050 RDI 9.5.0 REMOTE SYSTEMS LPEX EDITOR USER MOUSE ACTIONS
REQUIRE AN EXTRA CLICK TO WORK

Hi Michael,

There is at least this one
SE62904: RDI 9.5.0 LPEX FILTER BY DATE "EQUAL TO" FAILS TO REFRESH WHEN
THE
DATE IS NOT CHANGED
and the reason is the same. Basically after applying a filter the LPEX
view is not always being refreshed so the next action causes the refresh
to
happen.

I know that the issue has been discussed and the plan may be simply to
increase the scope of the existing APAR. I can't find a reference for
it
right now so if you are keen for a PMR to be sure that is fine.

This was brought up on the list in late September. Here's one message
from
one of the threads:
http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l/201509/msg00239.html

I don't recall seeing anything specifically mentioning an APAR. A quick
scan of the weekly IBM Notifications I receive doesn't show anything.
*If*
I get time later today, I'll open a PMR and maybe that will allow an
actual APAR to be created--either that or I'll find out if there's
really
an APAR for it..

Although others have reported it is inconsistent, for me the problem is
consistent.
