This was brought up on the list in late September. Here's one message from
one of the threads:
http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l/201509/msg00239.html

I don't recall seeing anything specifically mentioning an APAR. A quick
scan of the weekly IBM Notifications I receive doesn't show anything. *If*
I get time later today, I'll open a PMR and maybe that will allow an
actual APAR to be created--either that or I'll find out if there's really
an APAR for it..

Although others have reported it is inconsistent, for me the problem is
consistent.

Great! I didn't even think to search for APAR. Glad to hear it a
known issue. It seems intermediate.

I believe that there is an APAR open for this...

Hi,

Using RDi 9.5, I am getting Strange behavior on the "Filter
Selection"....

1.) Highlight the field
2.) Ctrl+F10 (same as right click)
3.) >Selected>Filter Selection

It does not work, but shows me the message "xxxx occurrences".
Perplexed, I think RDi 9.5 is SLOW...

Wait 1-minute, NOTHING!

Click on the source to try again, and then it "magically" does the
Filter.
It works after the "Two-Stroke" or the "click-Twice"...

Previously, this action was almost always "instant"....

I am using the Test Patch from 2015-10-27....
